Neil Davey is a business journalist with nearly ten years experience of writing about business management in Europe, the US and Asia. An NCTJ-qualified journalist, Neil spent time working on local newspapers before moving into the technology field at Rapide Publishing’s Total magazine. In 1999, he moved to Internet Works, the UK’s biggest selling e-business magazine for SMEs at the time.

In his 18 months at the title he worked as staff writer and then news editor, before moving to c-level B2B publisher GDS International as senior writer in 2001. Writing across the publisher’s broad portfolio of titles, Neil worked on magazines including Business Management, CXO, Next Generation Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, ICT and Homeland Security. Neil joined MyCustomer.com as editor in 2007.

Stuart Lauchlan
News & Analysis Editor

Stuart Lauchlan is a freelance business and technology journalist with 15 years experience of writing about the technology, management and business sectors, both in Europe and the US.

Beginning his career as Reporter, then Senior Reporter at Computing newspaper, Stuart spent time as Senior Software Industry Analyst with market research firm International Data Corporation's Technology Investment Strategies arm before becoming news editor, then contributing editor of Computing.

A period in San Francisco followed as one of the launch team for the VNU Online Newswire service. Returning to the UK, Stuart was Editorial Development Manager for CMP Media, working on a range of titles including Information Week and Computer Reseller News.

For the past five years, he has been freelance, contributing to a variety of print and online publications on both sides of the Atlantic, including being a regular columnist/contributor for MIS magazine, editor of Outsource magazine and News Editor for MyCustomer.com. He is also a partner in media and editorial services consultancy Darksome Media - www.darksome.net.

Jennifer Kirkby is an independent analyst and practitioner in 'state of the art' marketing and customer management practices. She is a professional presenter, post graduate lecturer and author of books and white papers, described by peers as one of the leading independent CRM consultants and writers in EMEA.

A Partner in Mutual Marketing and Director of White Waves Ltd, she was formerly CRM Research Director for Gartner, where she was a primary architect of the Classic Gartner Model - The Eight Building Blocks of CRM. She has advised, trained and coached many Fortune 500 companies across Europe and Asia on how to improve their customer management over the last 7 years. And is currently busy helping organizations link their CRM and CSR agendas.

Prior to that, Jennifer was with the UK’s Modernizing Government programme demonstrating how CRM techniques were applicable to Public Services. This followed 15 years of marketing practice in financial services and manufacturing, where she had roles in CRM programme management, marketing research, brand and product management, business development and strategic marketing. She has a degree in Economics from Leeds University and professional qualifications in Marketing, Market Research and Programme Management.

Away from the day job, she is a keen social historian and genealogist, running the 'Inskip one name society'; and a writer of short stories.
