Data quality in my CRM system
Posted by lotusgolibu10 on Thu, 02/12/2010 - 11:08
I am concerned about the accuracy of the data in our CRM system as we're increasingly finding data that is old or incomplete. Are there any quick fixes to check whether the amount of dirty data we have is simply a sustainable level that can be handled on an ongoing basis manually, or whether we now need to go for a full data cleanse from experts to sort this out?

CRM dirty data

An assessment of the state of the data, sorts of issues & their possible business impact can be done using data quality tools. You could try a call to Trillium Software.
Data quality is an important factor
Data quality is an important factor that is often overlooked during the implementation of a CRM solution. This step should not be overlooked as this issue can become a detriment to the project and should be addressed prior to the system deployment. If this is not addressed, it is likely you will experience user rejection of the project due to lack of confidence in the data.
Marketing should offer requirements of how data should be optimized, and IT should provide clear documentation outlining the data cleansing process. Then scrub………..
Clean and accurate data is the lifeline of your CRM. It allows you to have a clear view of your customers throughout the entire organization. Also consider how to keep the data clean over time, not just during the implementation.
