I was lucky enough to get invited to be a judge at the UK Customer Experience Awards (www.uk-ce-awards.co.uk) a few weeks ago.

There were a range of categories and winners from across B2B and B2C industries, public and private sectors. You can take a look at the winners here.

I received an email the other day from Stacey across at The Wow Awards letting me know who their finalists were this year. You may remember that I have mentioned them on the blog before in The Wow!

Often I hear complaints from companies in the UK that they are finding it increasingly hard to keep up and to engage with their customers, deal with complaints, questions or communication, particularly those that are initially posted on social media sites or sent directly via social media channels.

At the same time, I hear great success stories or how companies are making great strides in using social media to engage with their customers and grow their businesses.

Recently, I have been conducting a series of interviews on the blog to mix up the content a little. Today,  it is my pleasure to welcome Michael Heppell to the blog.
