Netonomy’s move to Asia a key part of continued high-growth strategy for 2005 and beyond.
Netonomy, the leader in customer self-service solutions for the communications industry, today announced that it has opened offices in Singapore and Sydney, Australia. With the world’s highest penetration rates for both mobility and the Internet, Asia Pacific is an excellent market for Netonomy’s industry leading technology.
Netonomy has appointed Damian Wade as general manager for the Asia Pacific Region. Wade brings a wealth of experience in selling to telecommunications operators in the region. He most recently served as Vice President for billing systems vendor, ADC Software in Asia Pacific. The Sydney office will be headed up by Rob McGarity, who also joins from ADC and brings with him over a decade’s experience in the Australasian telco market.
"Asia-Pac is an immense, diverse and innovative communications marketplace that is in the early days of adopting customer self-service and bill analysis technologies. With the industry leading, most advanced customer self-service technology available, the region represents an enormous opportunity for Netonomy," said Wade. "I am delighted to join the Netonomy team as the company expands its global reach. We intend to hit the ground running, building new relationships as well as leveraging our existing relationships with tier-one customers such as Orange and Vodafone.”"
John Ball, CEO of Netonomy added, "The move to Asia will better enable Netonomy to address the largest, most dynamic telecom market in the world and represents a critical component of our continued high-growth strategy for 2005 and beyond."
Netonomy has managed to consistently grow sales every year since its inception with an average growth rate of more than 100% a year over the past three years. In 2003, Netonomy grew sales by over 40% and continued to deliver profitability after posting its first profitable quarter at the end of 2002. With a presence in Asia, Netonomy is poised to continue on the path of aggressive growth, while further establishing itself as the clear leader in customer self-service for the global communication industry.
