Brand destruction – How Ford failed Jaguar

Up until about 25 years ago, the sight of a Jaguar would stir the blood of most young boys. Power, pace, menace allied to luxury. And for those of us from the UK, the epitome of English style. Now our roads are crawling with pinch-nosed X-types with a Mondeo chassis, looking like some cheap glove puppet made out of a sock.

Sadly the once powerful and evocative cat has been neutered.
