"We just hired the most senior female technology executive in the industry to run our operation in Europe," said Salesforce.com CEO Marc Benioff recently. "That is a critical hire for us, making sure she is successful, to make her part of our leadership team. We hired her from Symantec. She came through the Veritas acquisition. Before that, she worked at Oracle, which is when I first got to meet her. She is tremendous. Everything comes from Oracle.
