Call centres divide Germany and UK

When it comes to dealing with call centres, Germans don’t like waiting and Brits don't like accents.

A survey carried out by Wicom Communications found that two in five German respondents found waiting times to be one of the most annoying traits of dealing with call centres, compared to one in five of Brits, who were more concerned by "annoying agent accents".

The study also showed that Germans are quicker to get on the phone to their mobile or fixed telephony providers to complain.
