Google Inc. and CRM applications are moving ever closer together as web-based application provider Etelos announces the full public release of its new Etelos CRM for Google Apps.

Any business can sign up for Etelos CRM for Google, which integrates CRM with Google Apps for your domain, and with Google personalised homepages. Etelos CRM for Google contains features such as a marketing tool kit, contact management with customisable contact forms, task management, call scheduling, sales prospect tracking and further add-on modules.

“The feedback we received was nothing but positive,” says Etelos president and CEO Danny Kolke, who adds that the release includes features and functionality requested by as many as 1,500 businesses and 15,000 users.

Any mention of the words ‘Google’ and ‘CRM’ is certain to rattle the boards of on-demand and SaaS vendors the world over, especially with Etelos CRM Enterprise Edition users being able to customise numerous aspects of the application and choose the hosting environment, all for as little as $40 per user per month.

Etelos CRM for Google is also available at two more ‘junior’ levels: the Personal Edition for single users is free, while the Professional Edition allows multiple users to share tasks and projects for $12 per user per month.

This suggests an enormous potential take-up for small companies who are notoriously the hardest to reach with any on-demand, SaaS marketing pitch.

Etelos is also supporting NetVibes, and preparing support for Microsoft Outlook so that users can link their Outlook contacts with Etelos CRM via the Google interface.
