Christmas set to be the season of customer discontent

Despite predictions for record spending, there are growing concerns that Christmas 2007 will be the year for disgruntled online shoppers waiting to hear back from customer service departments.

Eight million households currently spend an average of two hours per day shopping on the net and will spend in the region of £400 online over the Christmas period on presents, groceries and other festive necessities.
