Acxiom Corporation and Xchange have announced an alliance by which Xchange is using Acxiom’s AbiliTec software to enhance its eCRM software solutions.
AbiliTec is the customer data integration software powered by patented linking technology and adopted by several major companies to help them create a single view of their customers across the enterprise.
AbiliTec will be offered as an optional add-on to the Xchange 4.0 solution, the first eCRM solution designed for click-and-mortar companies. Xchange 4.0 helps businesses earn a greater share of their customers’ business through highly targeted, cross-channel customer communications. This allows businesses to form much more complete portraits of customer relationships using third-party data.
With AbiliTec, companies can link contact information captured in real time from multiple touchpoints with legacy customer data stores.
“Our clients know that personalized customer communications are an absolute necessity in this age of customer empowerment,” said Andy Frawley, CEO of Xchange, “yet many businesses struggle with how to personalize messages when they have an incomplete picture of an individual’s likes and preferences. By incorporating Acxiom’s AbiliTec into Xchange 4.0, we’re providing our clients with the data they need to make intelligent decisions, on the fly, that strengthen and ultimately improve the profitability of customer relationships.”
Charles Morgan, Acxiom’s company leader, said, “In choosing Acxiom as its partner, Xchange recognizes the power of AbiliTec to help its clients leverage the full potential of their eCRM applications”.
“Customer Data Integration across the enterprise is an important element in enabling highly targeted, cross-channel customer communications,” said Sam Clark, senior research analyst at the Connecticut-based Meta Group. “For click-and-mortar companies, it’s a logical step toward achieving true eCRM.”
Xchange’s eCRM solutions are licensed for use at 250 client sites worldwide. These companies, including Citigroup, DaimlerChrysler and Vodafone, are using Xchange’s solutions to drive personalized communications to one billion consumers and businesses around the globe. The company is based in Boston with offices in Dallas, Denver, Seattle, Johannesburg, London, Munich, Sydney and Tokyo.
