Altitude appoints new VP of global marketing

Altitude Software has appointed João António Cardoso executive vice-president of global marketing and strategy. He will join the executive management team and assume responsibility for corporate product management, marketing communications, field marketing and training, replacing Paulo Rosado who has decided to pursue new endeavors.

Cardoso has more than 10 years in the multi-media contact centre environment and CRM delivering contact centre solutions. He has been a chief contributor to Altitude since the company’s early conception having developed the concept of unified customer interaction (uCI) while head of product line management.

Immediately prior to joining Altitude, Cardoso worked for SSF in Portugal as project manager for the international leasing business. He also has experience in software engineering and IT professional services.

Cardoso holds a degree in Computer Engineering and an MBA, both from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and has also attended product management and marketing training at the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
