Syracuse-based CableExpress Technologies has chosen NCR’s Worldwide Customer Services Division as a networking services partner. Under the agreement, valued at $24 million over three years, NCR will provide high availability maintenance services for CableExpress Technologies customer sites in North America and around the world.
“NCR’s expertise in providing IT services lets us push forth to achieve greater growth around our entire product offering,” said CableExpress CEO and founder William Pomeroy.
CableExpress is a reseller of new networking products from such manufacturers as Cisco, Nortel, Enterasys, and 3Com. The assurance of service and support for its entire product line, including certified pre-owned equipment, is a key consideration for its customers. By early spring, CableExpress customers will be able to use NCR’s enterprise management service, which can remotely monitor and diagnose entire networks from its Management Services Center in Atlanta.
