Cablesoft boosts sales support teams

Cablesoft is beefing up its sales and service team with two directors in preparation for the launch of iTRACS in Q3. 
Former Pinacor sales manager Robert MacIntosh has been appointed as project director, and Lee Merrill as sales director, western region.

Cablesoft develops IT infrastructure-modeling software that enables network and communications managers to track and manage their IT investment along with the change control process. Cablesoft has probably the largest team in the world dedicated to this rapidly growing niche market. 

iTRACS is the first next-generation infrastructure management system to provide automatic, real-time, online monitoring of network equipment from any vendor. It is designed to improve network performance through patent-pending infrastructure management technology.

MacIntosh will oversee all installations. While working for Pinacor, he managed a team of 23 representatives servicing 60 accounts.

Merrill will be responsible for developing new business. He will also oversee the regional team. Prior to Cablesoft, he worked as director of sales for Richardson.
