Is CRM just a business fad in INDIA

I'm not sure what you meant by CRM other than what we normally refer to as Customer Relationship Mgt. (at least in this forum :) And if what you meant by a "fad" as something that is gong to "fade" like fashion in India, then your question is a bit too peculiar for me. Considering how globally known and accepted and preached CRM is as a "business strategy" (at least) to most business gurus and their adherents (me included). To "us" it's a way of life...the only way to survive in business nowadays. No offense, but it's like asking if the KamaSutra really exists in India :)

Ok, maybe that was presumptous of me and I was a bit over-reacting to your posted query. It just seemed such a simple yet pretty odd a question...what made you ask it anyway?

I'm not exactly sure what you meant by your question, but anyway to answer it: with the CRM-rich resources (in terms of workforce and technology)of India, is it just a business Fad? -- I Hope Not :)
