A team from A. T. Kearney, EDS’ management consultancy, is to work with Siebel to provide highly-configured e-business applications for companies in the digital marketplace.
“Siebel eBusiness Applications provide a robust e-business technology platform, significantly improving the effectiveness of intra and extra-organizational processes,” said Mike Littell of EDS. “Enterprises must form a link with their customers to rapidly resolve any issues of channel conflict, categorization, differentiation, pricing and distribution.”
“Siebel’s suite of e-business applications addresses all aspects of the enterprise, in both the back office and point of customer contact,” said Mickey Smith of EDS. “In addition, Siebel has developed specialized solutions for vertical industries, including financial services, retail, healthcare and many others. By forming this alliance, both companies are committed to bringing customer-centric solutions to a diverse set of businesses across many industries.”
EDS will be implementing Siebel Call Center for its customer interaction centers, for a seamless flow of information across multi-channel sales organizations, marketing and customer service operations. Agents will be able to manage and synchronize contacts over multiple communications channels, such as the web, telephone, fax, e-mail, interactive voice response systems and voice-over-IP.
“Our ability to forge an alliance with a firm such as EDS, which has a track record of providing world-class system integration services, will provide companies access to a full range of eBusiness applications and capabilities tailored to meet their needs.” said Bruce Cleveland, vice president of alliances at Siebel.
Siebel Sales enables field professionals to forecast future business, generate customized presentations and proposals, and produce personalized invitations, thank-you notes and letters.
