Keen.com has appointed William Bettencourt, Jr. as chief operating officer and vice president of marketing. Bettencourt, most recently with AirTouch Communications, brings more than 20 years of experience with well-known consumer brands.

Bettencourt served for 10 years at AirTouch, most recently as vice president of corporate marketing and sales, responsible for AirTouch Cellular’s national corporate marketing and sales efforts. He was instrumental in developing that company’s wireless Internet and pre-paid cellular businesses. Other roles at AirTouch included the development of its corporate brand, as well as development of change management and competitive strategies.
Prior to AirTouch, Bettencourt held senior marketing roles at Del Monte Foods and Frito-Lay, managing and marketing various retail lines of snack food and beverage products.
