Leading Global IT Service Provider to Benefit From Standardization With mySAP.com

WALLDORF, Germany - December 5, 2001 - SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) today announced that Getronics has chosen the mySAP.com® e-businesss platform as the technology platform on which it will standardize its e-business solutions and services to manage its global operations in 34 countries worldwide. With mySAP.com, Getronics will be able to manage business processes more efficiently and effectively, experiencing cost savings and greater productivity as employees work seamlessly with each other, business partners and customers across enterprise boundaries. Getronics will be completing implementations of mySAP™ E-Procurement, mySAP™ Business Intelligence (mySAP BI) and mySAP™ Human Resources (mySAP HR). Getronics is a worldwide leading provider of IT solutions and services to professional users of information technology.

The American branch of Getronics has already announced the selection of the Enterprise Unification Portal from SAP Portals to serve as the basis for its new internal business portal, with time and travel management and human resource functionality. It has enabled Getronics U.S. to improve its employee self-service scenarios and internal communications with the majority of its 4,000 employees.

As part of the overall project, Getronics, which has been a long-time SAP customer, will migrate its existing SAP applications for human resources, e-procurement and business intelligence and the use of portal technology to the mySAP.com platform.
