HNC Telecommunications Solutions, a division of HNC Software has launched Atacs Online, a web-enabled fraud detection solution.
This makes advanced fraud detection possible in real time for communication service providers without high up-front costs.

ATACS Online can work with other ASP services such as HNC’s 4Score and 4Warn to evaluate creditworthiness quickly and to detect subscription fraud.
The second-largest long distance provider in Chile, Telefonica Mundo 188, avoided $2.5 million in loss from fraud in the first six months of using ATACS – a return of over 300 per cent on its investment.
