Breakaway Solutions has taken on Mia Sette as vice president to lead its Western US sales force. Niraj Jetly has been named co-practice leader for the company’s wireless initiative.
Sette comes to Breakaway from Tanning Technology, where she was vice president of sales for North America. She is well known to Breakaway president and CEO Gordon Brooks, with whom she worked for seven years at Cambridge Technology Partners as vice president of the Western Region, and before that at Oracle.
“I’ve had the opportunity to follow Mia’s career first-hand, and have seen her develop into one of the most impressive sales leaders in the industry,” said Brooks.
Jetly, who was the founder of the mobile solutions Center of Excellence while at Primix, will focus on business development as the co-practice leader for Breakaway’s wireless programs.
“Niraj brings a depth of experience in the wireless market that is virtually unparalleled in the industry,” said John Loftus, vice president of Breakaway’s eSolutions group. “As wireless technologies come into even more widespread use, Niraj will be a tremendous asset in developing the right customer and partner opportunities.”
John Lippman has been promoted to the position of vice president of sales for the Eastern US.
Brooks spoke enthusiastically about the move: “We have more than doubled our sales force over the past two quarters and the appointments of both John and Mia as the regional heads of our US sales force adds tremendous leadership to our efforts.”
