iXL is to streamline operations and get rid of 350 employees, saying that their positions are not critical to its future business.
“iXL has grown very quickly. We doubled our workforce over the last 12 months to accommodate our growth,” said Bert Ellis, iXL chairman and chief executive officer. “Now is the time to size our organization properly, trim costs and focus our efforts on where our industry is heading.
iXL is a global consulting firm with clients that include including GE, Virgin, AIG, Delta Air Lines, Chase, FedEx and AT&T. The company has 23 offices in North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia.
