J.D. Edwards has appointed its new president and CEO Robert Dutkowsky as chairman of the board, replacing Edward McVaney, who co-founded the company and served as its sole chairman for 25 years. Dutkowsky joined J.D. Edwards in January from Teradyne, and before that he worked 20 years at IBM. McVaney has been CEO several times since 1987. His last stint as CEO began in 2000, which ended when he retired from that post in January with the arrival of Dutkowsky.
