Intrinsic has appointed two new directors - Jeff Pack as chief financial officer, and Simon Edwards as senior vice president of commercial operations.
This announcement comes hot on the heels of Intrinsic’s acquisition of the French enterprise marketing automation (EMA) specialist, Marketic, making it the largest EMA solutions provider in Europe. This acquisition broadens Intrinsic’s product and customer portfolio base and expands its market presence in France, Spain, the Netherlands and Belgium. The company also has established offices in the US and Australia.
Jeff Pack has extensive experience with companies operating in the global marketplace, having worked for eleven years as group treasurer and director of investor relations at Securicor. During his career, Pack has also worked for Motorola, Ingersoll Rand and IBM.
Simon Edwards will be responsible for Intrinsic’s sales, marketing and delivery operations worldwide. Before Intrinsic, Edwards worked at Protégé where he was responsible for managing the entry of US software start-up companies into Europe. Prior to that he was chief executive for the EMEA region at Systems Union, managing commercial operations and establishing a hugely successful reseller network.
Dr Steve Treadwell, chief executive of Intrinsic, said: “I am delighted to welcome Jeff and Simon to the company. Their experience will help Intrinsic to drive forward its global marketing strategy as one of the fastest-growing suppliers of intelligent EMA and CRM solutions. These appointments follow on from Intrinsic’s recent acquisition of Marketic, which now makes us the biggest EMA specialist in Europe. We look forward to growing the Intrinsic brand globally whilst maintaining high levels of customer service.”
