iXL has appointed Niraj Shah as chief operating officer (COO) and Barry Sikes as chief people officer (CPO).
Shah, who succeeds Sikes as COO, will be responsible for the company’s overall operations, including the strategic management of its professionals, infrastructure and programs. Shah will direct client services and sales activities via its Global Client Partner program and worldwide client services organization, and oversee all strategy and solutions delivery. He has also joined the board of directors.
Before this appointment Shah was executive vice president of Worldwide Operations. Previous to that, he was senior vice president of Operations. Earlier, he was general manager of the Boston office responsible for strategic planning, business development, service delivery and company growth in the New England market. He holds a BS from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.
As CPO, Sikes will orchestrate leadership and management training programs globally. He was one of iXL’s founding officers, and prior to his tenure as COO headed operations for the Southeast Region. Sikes brings 20 years of leadership expertise to his new role.
