Onyx Software and Allegis have announced a strategic partnership to jointly market each other’s products.
“Companies need to think of their partners as customers – providing them with two-way communication and a channel to leverage vendor expertise. They will gain a real-time view of the health of their business outside their four walls,” said Eben Frankenberg, senior vice president, Onyx. “Our relationship with Allegis broadens the capabilities of Onyx Partner Portal so our customers have the benefit of an even more powerful way to manage their partner relationships, online and offline.”
“This agreement ensures our customers can easily integrate to the Onyx e-Business Engine,” said Mark Morrissey of Allegis. “Our PRM offering complements the Onyx Partner Portal, adding functionality focused on managing complex interdependencies when selling through direct, indirect and self-service channels.”
Onyx and Allegis share a similar technical architecture using industry standards such as Microsoft DNA, XML, HTTPS and SSL encryption. Allegis Sales Partner is offered as a hosted application service and can be easily integrated with Onyx’s PRM-focused Partner Portal and its complete e-business offering, which may be deployed locally or in a hosted environment.
Based in San Francisco, Allegis is an ASP of collaborative demand chain software and services. Through its Sales Partner and Market Partner services, the company enables vendors to collaborate with their demand chain partners. Allegis Corp is privately held, with lead investors that include Benchmark Capital, Brinson Partners, Integral Capital, the Intel 64 Fund and Pivotal Asset Management.
