Enterprise agreement to automate Call Center, Sales Force, Reseller and E-Commerce Communities; Strategic Partnership to Integrate and Cross-sell Products

infoUSA a provider of business and consumer information products, database marketing services, data processing services and Internet marketing solutions, has selected SalesLogix as its enterprise-wide provider of eCRM solutions.

The contract includes the full suite of SalesLogix and CommerceLogix products for infoUSA's community of 1500 resellers, 700 call center professionals, 300 direct sales representatives, and full suite of 12 e-commerce sites. Through the SalesLogix system, infoUSA aims to streamline customer interactions by tying together its entire interactive selling network.

In addition, the two companies have agreed to create an alliance to take advantage of the complementary nature of their businesses. This alliance hopes to include a license for SalesLogix to include in its offering of products and services four infoUSA services: online business credit reports, an automated screen fill module, custom database delivery modules and customer analysis software.

"At infoUSA we believe that the Internet is key to how prospects and customer interactions will occur and are managed. SalesLogix is the only front office suite available today that is specifically designed to web-power all of those interactions and selling channels, allowing us to quickly deploy applications that fit our needs right out of the box."

SalesLogix Corporation claims that joint customers will benefit from ready-access to contact information used to generate sales leads, analyze markets, divide sales territories, and select prospects for any Zip code, for direct mail or telemarketing.

SalesLogix was selected over three other vendors including enterprise market leaders such as Siebel for its ease of deployment, advanced management of e-commerce and partner portal solutions, and overall lower total-cost-of-ownership. In deploying the SalesLogix solution, infoUSA aims to create a unified view of their 2 million plus customers across  its sales channels and provide tools for the organization to optimize its sales process.
