Support.com has announced a reseller partnership with IEI Technology (China) to provide support automation solutions to leading corporations throughout the People's Republic of China.
IEI sees the partnership as an opportunity to introduce the first comprehensive support automation solution to the Chinese business community.
Expected to lead the world in IT spending by topping $124.8 billion by 2005, the Asia Pacific market is also predicted to surpass the US in Internet usage by the same year, according to industry analyst firm Gartner Group.
Specifically architected for international markets, Support.com's platform ships in 10 languages, including both traditional and simplified Chinese, as well as in additional Asian languages of Korean and Japanese.
"We believe support automation software is a must for major People's Republic of China corporations, especially when China joins the World Trade Organisation later this year," said Stephen Liang, IEI managing director.
Fortune 1000 companies using Support.com's software include GE, Cisco Systems, Delta Air Lines, and Bear Stearns, plus OEMs and service providers like IBM, Sony, CSC and [email protected]. The company headquarters are in Redwood City, California, with offices worldwide.
