A temporary restraining order has been granted to Aspect Communications Corporation, the provider of customer relationship portals, against eConvergent, Inc., Clyde D. Foster, president and CEO of eConvergent, Rufus Wavel and Bipin Paracha. Until July last year, Foster was a vice president at Aspect Communications. Wavel and Paracha, now employed by eConvergent, are former Aspect employees.
The suit alleges Foster, Wavel, Paracha and eConvergent misappropriated Aspect’s trade secrets and are offering products and services incorporating Aspect’s intellectual property. It is also alleged that Foster breached his severance agreement with Aspect by soliciting Aspect employees to work with him and eConvergent.
A temporary restraining order was issued in Santa Clara County Superior Court requiring those accused to preserve all documents, cease selling products incorporating Aspect’s trade secrets and refrain from disclosure of any information relating to Aspect’s trade secrets.
Aspect Communications Corporation provides customer relationship portals, a software platform for eCRM applications that enable businesses to interact with their customers from one central system. Aspect’s headquarters are in San Jose, CA.
