Verizon has implemented Point Information Systems' e-CRM solution to support account managers in its business partnership channel (BPC).
The deployment features 330 contact centre web desktop licences located in Verizon U.S. call centres in Maynard, Massachusetts, and Exton, Pennsylvania, with servers located in Maryland.
In addition to sales and account management, BPC account managers are using the software to help win back former customers and more accurately forecast future sales opportunities. The BPC focuses on B2B sales to medium-sized companies with annual revenues between $10,000 and $60,000 that are based in the eastern half of the United States.
BPC account managers in western states already use an earlier Point CRM solution - TeamPoint - to support sales and account management functions. Future plans call for TeamPoint to be replaced with e-point Contact Centre.
