what type of data we should capture in view of customer

hi
iam new to this one. We want to develop CRM application to our organisation. So i want to know,
what type of data we should capture for customer, when agent/ partner want to look his complete details?

Except of contact , his previous transaction details and his economic status and communicated media , what more we can capture to improve company sales?

Knowing who the custoer contacts is first priority. Then focus on what you have to say of interest. This is where working with the sales team helps. Measure everything and look at the important items to improve.
Have you institutiuonalized the customer contact base?
