As part of mplsystems’ Call Centre Expo presence in October, they demonstrated iSocialise, the ground-breaking customer service product which allows the integration of social media into any organisation’s customer service department alongside their phone, e-mail and SMS channels.
With social media now becoming central to how we live our lives – more than 320 million of us log into Facebook at least once a day and we send 95 million Tweets a day – mplsystems took advantage of the crowds visiting Expo to continue their poll into how many organisations have introduced social media handling into their customer service offering.

273 companies in total took part and the results show that many are still considering the best way to proceed:
- 38% have social media handling in place already
- 20% are piloting it
- 20% plan on introducing it in the next 12 months
- 22% plan on introducing it in the next 24 months
