Google launches Trusted Stores scheme to boost consumer confidence

Google has launched its own trustmarks scheme, Trusted Stores, in a bid to allow consumers to “shop online with confidence”.
There are three clear aspects to Trusted Stores; a trustmarks scheme, a consumer protection programme and a benchmarking operation relating to shipping and service data.
The badge is being piloted with a small number of online stores, including O.co, Wayfair, BabyAge.com, and Beach Audio.
