Service more important than special offers for telco customers
European telecoms users are more interested in seeing a commitment from their suppliers to improve customer service levels than they are in special offers or product incentives, according to a survey.
More than half of 4,150 respondents in the UK, France and Germany cited faster response times as among their top three customer service priorities, while nearly one in four were keen on a more consistent and personal approach.
Just over 41% wanted their enquiries to be dealt with via a range of channels, while less than a quarter felt that receiving more special offers was important to them.
These are the findings of a recent poll undertaken by YouGov on behalf of CRM and knowledge management software provider, eGain Communications.
