There are only two days left for small CRM providers to register to be part of the CRM Idol 2012 competition.
The competition is an opportunity for smaller CRM providers who often struggle to get visibility among the big players to make a name for themselves in the industry.
Three of the companies that participated last year have been acquired. Several others have said it changed their companies forever.
Every opportunity has been given to small emerging companies that are looking for:
1. Visibility via free marketing, a public review by leading influencers, etc.
2. Direct access to influencers, analysts, press
3. Mentoring and advice from industry leading well-connected experts for free
4. Possible venture capital and dozens of other prizes
5. Participation in a community of like minded companies and the influencers
So if you are yet to register.... what are you waiting for!?
The first phase of the competition focuses on recruiting participants who must first prove their fitness for the competition by supplying basic information including company size based on revenue, years in business and availability of products. All products in the competition must be in live use and no beta products will be accepted.
While last year's event covered EMEA and North America, the 2012 competition has widened its scope so that vendors providing CRM and related solutions from North and South America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa and Asia, can all apply.
Paul Greenberg, founder of CRM Idol and author of the seminal CRM at the Speed of Light, said: “This is going to be a bigger more exciting year for the industry as we discover some new emerging CRM companies. Last year was great and this year will be infinitely more amazing.”
