Ubisoft gambles on RightNow to engage customers

Ubisoft, whose roster of gaming titles includes Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell, has extended a six-year relationship with on-demand software provider RightNow Technologies to provide voice self-service, alongside the web-based helpdesk and email management services already provided.

Using keyword-triggered voice recognition, Ubisoft's gamer community can search the company's knowledge repository of hints and technical queries, allowing users to keep playing while receiving real-time help on demand.
