Emailvision unveils "first" geo-marketing analytics tool

Emailvision has unveiled the "first" geo-marketing analytics tool with the revision of its SaaS Campaign Commander Enterprise Edition solution.

Using a drag-and-drop customer data discovery and geo-based heat maps, the new release from the o allows marketers to explore and analyse millions of customer records. With an understanding of customer location, behaviour, demographics and purchase history, marketers can increase revenues and profitability without overwhelming customers, said the firm.

According to Emailvision, its geo-marketing analytics solution is the "first available".

Charles Wells, CPO for Emailvision, said: "At Emailvision, we are committed to developing an online marketing solution that empowers marketers with the ability to get more value from their customer data – spending more time understanding customer behaviour and characteristics; and less time worrying about how to execute complex campaigns.

"Our new geo-mapping capabilities, enhanced train of thought analysis and multivariate testing tools make it even easier for marketers to drive complementary upsell, cross-sell and reactivation campaigns."

Additionally, the release introduces fully-integrated multivariate testing for email, allowing marketers to test multiple versions of an email campaign.

Nick Heys, CEO of Emailvision, said: "In the past, organisations had to invest significant amounts of budget, time and resource to develop targeted and personalised marketing campaigns using on-premise customer intelligence software. Now, our unique SaaS-based customer intelligence and campaign management platform enables enterprises of all sizes to leverage their fast-growing customer data and turn it into profitable campaigns at a fraction of the cost.

"We are focused and committed to building the next-generation SaaS solution for relationship marketing. This release removes the complexity of campaign execution and takes marketing programmes to new levels of sophistication."

This is good news; with the explosion in local and hyperlocal services, now is a great time for marketers to wake up to the possibilities of geographic segmentation and analysis.

HTK Horizon has offered geographic segmentation and analysis tools for a while now, and it's very popular with our customers - especially our retail customers who are strating to use it for location-targeted email and SMS campaigns.

We launched our first geographic segmentation tools back in 2004, and we provide geo-segmentation and heat-map analysis for customers including the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, for their national flood warning service.

Emailvision is right on the money; location-based marketing (coupled with preferences, demographics and behaviour) is an important dimension that all marketers should consider in future campaigns.

An exciting time for marketers!
