Customer experience veteran Tarkoff takes CEO seat at Lithium

Software industry veteran Rob Tarkoff is to take the reigns as CEO at social CRM specialist Lithium, as the company looks to capitalise on a booming market for social CRM products.

Tarkoff joins Lithium from Adobe Systems, where he served as senior vice president and general manager of the £600m Digital Enterprise Solutions business unit. He will succeed Lithium co-founder Lyle Fong who will take on the role of dhief strategist and continue serving on the board of directors.
 
In a statement, Tarkoff said: “The social software market is on the verge of unprecedented growth, and Lithium is uniquely positioned to take advantage of this opportunity. I am looking forward to helping the world's best brands ignite their customer base and engage their most passionate fans."
