UPDATED: Pegasystems boosts CRM credentials with Chordiant acquisition
The ongoing consolidation of the enterprise software market stepped up again this week when business process management provider Pegasystems signed a definitive agreement to purchase CRM supplier Chordiant for $161.5 million.
The move comes only two months after CDC Software made a bid to acquire Chordiant for $105.1 million, although it withdrew its offer only a week later, selling its 1.3% stake in the company at the same time.
