SAP reveals integration with Sybase mobile and database platforms

SAP has unveiled version 2.0 of the Sybase Unwired mobile enterprise application platform at the same time as announcing it finally intends to integrate its acquisition’s database with its own application suite.
SAP purchased Sybase a year ago this month, but has so far failed to introduce a certified version of the firm’s ASE database to run on its Business Suite packages, provide a single point of contact for customers or offer integrated licensing and maintenance terms and conditions.
