Website investment driving up online customer satisfaction
Online customer satisfaction has reached an all-time high over the last six months as websites have become increasingly easy to use and offline practices such as telephone-based customer service have also improved.
According to a study of 44 UK retail websites undertaken by eDigitalResearch, customer satisfaction scores increased by 3% when compared with January, with pure-play shoe retailer Javari taking the top slot for a second time. The firm was only included in the research for the first time eight months ago.
Derek Ecclestone, a research director at eDigitalResearch, said: "Our research already indicates that more and more people are shopping online as we continue to witness the growing MEcommerce consumer trend, where consumers now have the power to dictate to retailers where, when and how they want to shop."
