A digital analyst, sociologist, and futurist, Solis has studied and influenced the effects of emerging media on business, marketing, publishing and culture. MyCustomer.com caught up with Brian at the recent Adobe Omniture Summit 2011. It's about Humans, not Humanoids subservient to technology
Very good perspective on creating a value-chain and the need for a one-to-one adaptive relationship. Personally, it should produce as one of the results what I call "Common Connections" between two people. Social media apart from a one-to-many capability does not supplant the ultimate purpose of achieving a sustainable personal relationship to ultimately arrive at the connected customer as Brian mentions.
