ECCCSAs 2018 are open for entries

Award season is always an exciting time. Identifying the projects and teams that have had a really positive impact on the business and getting them recognised externally is a hugely rewarding process.

As the Chair of the Judges for the European Contact Centre and Customer Service Awards (ECCCSAs), I’m delighted that the nomination window for the largest and most prestigious awards programme in the customer contact industry is now open and accepting entries until Friday 13 July 2018.

The ECCCSAs (pronounced eksas) are renowned for the integrity and credibility of the judging process. High calibre judges are handpicked for their experience and knowledge and spend over 2,000 hours doing face-to-face judging.

These judges can recognise organisations that are leading the way in delivering exceptional service to customers. And with a number of new categories this year we are onboarding more judges with outstanding records of achievement.”

There are seven new categories this year including Best Implementation of Artificial Intelligence in Customer Service, Most Effective Health and Wellbeing Programme, Best Voice of the Employee Programme and Best Pan-European Contact Centre. The new categories reflect the activities that are having a significant impact on the customer experience.

Once again, we are making it as easy as possible for companies to enter, with an early bird offer available for multiple entries. We are determined to validate the teams and projects that are innovating our industry and to give them the recognition they deserve.

Mark Brannen, Associate Director at BGL Group, winners of the Best Large Contact Centre of the Year last year: “We entered the ECCCSAs last year hoping that the BGL Group would be recognised for the great work that we are doing. Not only did we win, but as a consequence of the award we recently featured on the BBCs One Show who were researching companies that deliver great customer outcomes. Participation in the ECCCSAs has resulted in great publicity for our brand and given our teams even more confirmation of how valued they are.”

Nominations for the ECCCSAs 2018 open on Friday 4 May 2018. The winners will be announced at a lavish Awards Evening hosted by Fiona Bruce on Tuesday 27 November 2018 at Evolution, Battersea Park, London.

Here are some key dates:
