Advice on COTS "Who is Who" relationship software solutions

Advice on COTS "Who is Who" relationship...

Didn't find your answer?

Hello,  Can anyone point me at possible solution vendors who provide Enterprise Organisational (internal and external) Relationship solutions for managing and exploiting "Who is Who" type Cutomer Relationships.  I would envisiage that the potential relationships to be mapped could be of internal personnel, external individuals and the protential intricate relationships between both.  Being able to link this data to multiple product sets etc whould also be in scope.

The comapany i am investigating for is already running both MS CRM and standard SAP ERP, however these solution do not appear to give the best way forward for this type of requirement.

Several vendors in that space. Prinicipally, the issue is that you need an enterprise architecture as well as a product capable of tapping the infrastructure. It won't be a click and install acvtivity. Although many vendors will claim that their integrated product will solve that space, none will do so without integration between systems. MDM defines the relationships between those data resources and normalizes; several products can provide dynamic linking of data sources in a hub/spoke model to maintain the relationships across the systems, as well as an API to tap it at a logical layer. Once that's accomplished, you can use a separate product to define the rules engine for querying the data sources and create the business intelligence necessary to solve the relationship problem. Your existing SAP and MS CRM installations can provide the those functionalities, but will most likely require service development to interact with the downstream systems.
