SAP Celebrates Excellence in IT Implementation With This Year’s Winners of SAP Quality Awards

LONDON — SAP UK Limited is delighted to announce the 2016 winners of its SAP Quality Awards for United Kingdom and Ireland (UKI). The honors recognize successful product implementations and integrations by customers in the categories of fast delivery, HR cloud, business transformation, and innovation.

SAP Quality Awards are designed to showcase customer implementations that exemplify the 10 quality principles advanced by SAP. Winning implementations achieve outstanding results through high-quality planning, execution, and use of best practices. These prestigious awards recognize projects and programs that focus on innovation to deliver tangible business benefits.

Twelve organizations were distinguished with the honor at the annual SAP Quality Awards dinner on Thursday, Nov. 10, at Kew Gardens. They include:

“Fast delivery” category winners: Gold – Capgemini supported by Capgemini, Silver – BrewDog plc supported by Sapphire Systems plc, Bronze – Hillarys supported by Birchman

“HR cloud” category winners: Gold – Tata Steel Europe supported by Capgemini, Silver – Jaguar Land Rover supported by IBM, Bronze – Serco Group plc supported by HCL

“Business transformation” category winners: Gold – Kingfisher plc supported by SAP SE, Silver – Greggs plc supported by Keytree, Bronze – Colt Technology Services supported by SAP SE

“Innovation” category winners: Gold – Stelrad Ltd supported by Gauri Ltd, Silver – John Crane supported by Capgemini, Bronze – Unilever plc supported by everis

This year’s gold success stories will now be entered into the regional competition for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for the overall EMEA quality awards contest. Winners will be announced the first quarter of 2017.

Cormac Watters, managing director, UKI, SAP UK Limited, recognized the importance of celebrating customer success in SAP software implementations. “This is the tenth year we’ve conducted our UKI awards program, which is a testament to the importance we place on celebrating the amazing success stories of our customers,” noted Watters. “This year’s winners demonstrated a deep understanding of how technology can have a powerful business impact. They seized the opportunity to drive forward programs that are making a real difference to organizations and ultimately benefiting customers.
