It's been a record year for applications to CX Leader of the Year, with the quantity and quality higher than ever before. But with all the entries examined, MyCustomer is now able to reveal the 20 finalists of the 2022 award and provide a summary of their impressive achievements.
Now in its fourth year, the entrants have grown in number and quality year-on-year, as CX professionals share their stories in a bid to be crowned customer experience leader of the year.
This year, the global award attracted well over 100 entrants, across 20+ countries - from Cameroon to Canada. And with the awards roster now having expanded so that in addition to the main trophy, there will also be champions in culture, employee experience, technology and insight, this year will see more leaders crowned than ever before!
"Without any question this year has provided us with the most diverse group of candidates we've ever had in the history of this competition," says MyCustomer managing editor Neil Davey. "There are so many different sectors represented - from financial services to retail to energy companies to health services - and from so many different countries. It is a great reflection of just how much customer experience management as a discipline is growing, and how the philosophies are being adopted far and wide.
"Whittling the 100+ applications down to 20 has been harder than ever, and there are so many great stories. But the final 20 are those that have best demonstrated how they have driven customer-centric change at their organisations. And with the extra awards this year, we'll be able to reward more applicants for their stellar achievements."
A panel of expert judges, including last year's winner Sri Safitri, 2020's CX Leader of the Year James Scutt, and 2019 champion Sandra de Zoysa, will now further examine the finalists with the winner to be announced on November 2nd 2022.

The annual, global CX Leader of the Year award celebrates the work being done by the trailblazing individuals working in the customer experience profession.
The award is free to enter, independently-run and judged by a team of globally-recognised judges.
As organisers of the award, MyCustomer invites CX practitioners to share the work they've been doing in their roles over the past 12 months, and showcase their personal and team achievements.
Our expert judging panel compiles a list of the top CX leaders based on the quality of their entry, before rewarding four contestants for achievements in the fields of insight, culture, employee experience and technology - and crowning one lucky entrant the CX Leader of the Year.
