CX Leader of the Year 2022: Finalists revealed on Wednesday

This year's competition received the largest number of applicants in its history - and the 20 finalists will be announced on Wednesday 28th September.

The application window for MyCustomer’s 2022 CX Leader of the Year award has now shut, with this year's competition witnessing the largest haul of entrants in its four-year history - and the 20 finalists will be revealed on Wednesday 28th September. 

The annual award offers customer experience leaders the opportunity to share success stories from their current CX role, and be recognised and celebrated for their achievements by MyCustomer's community of 80,000+ like-minded peers.

It's now over to the judges, who will deliberate over the 100+ entries received. The 20 finalists will be showcased on the 28th September, before the ultimate winner of CX Leader of the Year will be revealed on November 2. Four other highly commended applicants will also receive special recognition for achievements in the fields of culture, customer insight, technology and employee experience. 

MyCustomer managing editor, Neil Davey, believes this year's CX Leader of the Year award has been the most diverse yet. 

"While we're still in the process of digesting the minutiae of this year's applications, what is already apparent is that we have had more entrants from a wider range of industries from a broader list of countries than ever before. It truly is a reflection on just how much customer experience management has penetrated the business world, across so many different sectors, and from all corners of the map."

2021's winner

The winner of the 2021 CX Leader of the Year was Sri Safitri, Deputy Executive VP of Customer Experience and Digitisation at Telkom Indonesia.

Amongst a remarkably high calibre of entrant, Sri stood out with our judging panel as a leader that had driven organisational structure, operations, people roles and accountabilities, and deeply understood "the interlinkages, dependencies and connectivity between true customer-centricity and virtually every part of the organisation".

Sri explained why entering the CX Leader of the Year award is such a vital and rewarding experience for fellow CX professionals around the globe: 

“Winning CX Leader of the Year was truly a prestigious and extraordinary achievement that made me feel beyond grateful and complete. It is a high valued initiative that appreciates CX professionals around the world.” 

The customer experience world now holds its breath as we wait for the 20 finalists for the 2022 award to be revealed in a week's time.
