Share this content parent company Sift Media and technology trade association Intellect have opened entry for the Software Satisfaction Awards 2012 - with this year's competition boasting exciting new categories.

Now in their seventh year, the Software Satisfaction Awards 2012 (SSA12) reward excellence in the software sector, with voting based on the views of end users from Sift Media's audience of 600,000 business professionals and those of a panel of expert judges.
SSA12 is hosted in partnership with Intellect, which adds significant reach and depth to the awards programme via its 800+ strong member community of UK technology firms.
Charles Ward, COO, Intellect says: "We are proud to support these awards, which recognise and reward excellence in the UK business software industry, and provide a reference for organisations that are looking to purchase new software applications. Last year, over 100 entries competed across 18 award categories with just under 10,300 software users sharing their experiences in the 2011 survey.
Entering the awards is a quick and simple process, taking less than 5 minutes. I’d strongly urge software vendors to take part in 2012 to take part in one of the UK’s largest pieces of business opinion research."
And this year, in addition to existing categories such as CRM, business intelligence & analytics, and accounting & finance, new awards have been added, including social & collaboration, and marketing automation.
Sift Media Managing Director, Tom Dunkerley, explains: “SSA12 recognises and rewards excellence in customer service, providing more than just a chance to add a trophy to the office display cabinet. It acts as a fully independent customer satisfaction survey. This offers a valuable opportunity for software vendors to hear first-hand from their customers, enabling them to evolve and develop products to meet customer needs. After all, it’s real customers, not a judging panel, that decide the winners.”
