Rapide is inviting utility executives to attend an online industry workshop, focusing on the benefits of real-time customer engagement in the sector.
Due to take place on 29 February at 2pm, the free webinar will discuss the importance of interaction with customers in providing a high level of service, preventing customer churn and developing brand loyalty.
The panel, consisting of Morag Kent from Veolia Water and members of Rapide staff, will discuss the company's use of SMS messaging to monitor customer satisfaction, as well as examine how customer engagement is revolutionising operational performance management in the utility sector.
Nigel Shanahan, MD of Rapide, said: "In today’s always on, always connected world, the utility sector is increasingly turning to mobile and other real-time channels to communicate with customers, often driven by a need to demonstrate efficiency to shareholders and regulators."
He added: "By engaging with customers in the moment, utility companies can accurately monitor customer sentiment and respond immediately to any issues. Participants in our forthcoming webinar will hear about best practice in real-time engagement, together with industry leader Veolia Water’s direct experiences of using real-time customer feedback solutions."
