What is affiliate marketing?
Definition of affiliate marketing:
Affiliate marketing is an online sales discipline that lets a product owner increase sales by allowing others targeting the same audience – “affiliates” – to earn a commission by recommending the product to others. Affiliates can therefore earn money on product sales without creating products of their own.
The buyer pays the same amount through an affiliate as they would buying directly from the product owner. The owner, however, makes less money per sales because they pay a percentage to the affiliate, though they are reaching potential customers that they wouldn’t without the affiliate.
