What is customer onboarding?
Definition of customer onboarding:
Understanding the customer’s relationship with your business from the point of inception.
Similar to the ‘customer journey’, but specifically honing in on your business’ initial interaction with customers from their point of view.
Capturing customer loyalty often happens at the very early stages of a customer’s journey, as the first point of contact will leave a lasting impression of the brand.
Businesses that optimise customer onboarding are more likely to encourage customer retention and brand loyalty.
