What is dark data?
Definition of dark data:
Dark data is any data your organisation records and collects but fails to analyse and use operationally.
This type of data can include anything from contact centre call records to metadata associated with video and non-textual files.
Many businesses often retain dark data for compliance purposes but lack the processes to analyse and utilise it effectively.
